What personal information do we collect and how do we use it?

When you contact us via our website, we may use personal information (such as your name and email address) to enable us to respond to you and with your consent, then keep in touch with you about relevant events and services. We also contact our customers from time to time with relevant promotions based on legitimate interests. You can ask us to stop sending you marketing messages by contacting us at any time by clicking unsubscribe at the bottom of any marketing email.

Google Analytics collects information about when and how you visit this site, like your IP address.

How to access and control your personal data?

You have certain rights in relation to the personal information we hold about you. Details of these rights and how to exercise them are set out below. We will require evidence of your identity before we are able to act on your request.

  • Right to Object to or Restrict Processing. In certain circumstances, you have the right to object to our processing of your Information by contacting us at the address or email address set out below. For example, if we are processing your Information on the basis of our legitimate interests and there are no compelling legitimate grounds for our processing that override your rights and interests. You also have the right to object to the use of your Information for direct marketing purposes.
  • Right of Data Portability. In certain instances, you have a right to receive any Information that we hold about you in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. We are also unable to comply with requests that relate to the Information of others without their consent.

Cookies

Who we share your data with?

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How long we retain your data?

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profiles. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data?

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
